What You'll Do
Orthodontic Laboratory Technicians play a vital role in the overall success of the orthodontic department by providing well-crafted appliances that assist in the education and correction of dental issues.
What We're Looking For
Basic Requirements:
Knowledge and experience typically acquired by:
- Previous hands-on skills to build, repair and maintain dental appliances.
- Must have experience with digital scanners, and 3D printers.
- Precision is crucial in creating orthodontic appliances, and a high level of attention to detail is necessary.
- Working with various materials and small tools requires excellent manual dexterity.
- Understanding the principles of orthodontics and the mechanics of different appliances
- Effectively communicating with orthodontists and other members of the dental team.
- Ability to troubleshoot and adjust or make repairs as needed.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and techniques in the field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A formal education in dental laboratory technology is preferred.
Pay Range
Minimum $21.80, Midpoint $25.95, Maximum $30.10
Salary is based on related experience, expertise, and internal equity; generally, new hires can expect pay between the minimum and midpoint of the range.
