The Assistant Crime Analysis Center Administrator is responsible for assisting in the management of the Erie Crime Analysis Center (ECAC). The incumbent is responsible for working in concert and collaboration with the Center Administrator in managing both the physical aspects of the space as well as the staffing of the ECAC and providing direction to the multi-agency staff assigned to the ECAC. The primary function is to analyze crime within the area, and to provide this information to local law enforcement to assist in selecting more effective tactics and formulating strategies to significantly reduce crime, with an emphasis on violent crime and gun related crime.
