he Senior Counselor, BIPOC Specialist must have a strong interest in meeting the mental health needs of historically underrepresented racial and ethnic groups. They also must be able to provide culturally responsive clinical, consultative, and outreach services and training opportunities.
As a Senior Counselor, the responsibilities include:
- Performing individual, group and couples counseling.
- Providing consultations with faculty and staff on student issue.
- Facilitating presentations on mental health topics for a diverse student population.
- Providing on-call and crisis intervention.
- Supervising graduate students in psychology, social work, and mental health counseling.
