The UB Teacher Residency Program (UBTR) is seeking a detail-oriented Research Support Associate for our program research and evaluation team. The selected candidate will be actively involved in the data collection and analysis processes for the iSEL (Integrated Social-Emotional Learning) Video Reflection and Analysis Program and would also support quantitative data analysis on program outcomes. Ideal candidates will have familiarity with quantitative and qualitative research as well as culturally responsive and sustaining practices. The ideal candidate will also have an interest in reflection, analysis, SEL, and models of inquiry related to deepening self- awareness and development in adult SEL competencies.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct data collection activities related to the iSEL Video Reflection and Analysis Pilot Program.
  • Analyze collected data using mixed research methods, with a primary focus on qualitative approaches
  • Collaborate with Postdoctoral Associate and program leaders surrounding the interpretation of data.
  • Assist in preparing reports summarizing key findings and insights.
  • Assist in the ongoing refinement and enhancement of the iSEL pilot program.
  • Handle administrative and organizational tasks related to the pilot program.

This position will be a one-year appointment. Additional appointments are contingent upon future grant funding.
