Position Summary
The School of Engineering and Applied Sciences (SEAS) Office of Graduate Education seeks an innovative professional for the position of Career and Internship Coach for Engineering Science Masters Programs to manage career services and professional development specifically for students in Engineering Science Masters level programs (Data Science, Robotics and Artificial Intelligence).

Duties include:
Collaborate with UB Career Design Center, Blackstone LaunchPad and SEAS Development Office and (Dean’s Advisory Council and Young Alumni Board), and SEAS 360 Professional Development program.
Host monthly labor market "currently on the radar" sessions for students Engineering Science MS (Data Sciences, Robotics, Computer Science and AI) and provide customized skills alignment from student to company reports using existing tools.
Leverage SEAS Engineering Science outcomes dashboard to enhance visibility of internship and career opportunities for students.
Work closely with SEAS Communication to enhance visibility of student career outcomes in these programs.
Act as liaison with UB’s International Student Services Office to host information sessions
Process Curricular Practical Training (CPT) and Occupational Practical Training (OPT) letters
Collaborate with campus partners to increase student participation in professional development programs, coaching, and advising through a variety of formats including drop-in interactions, individual appointments and presentations/workshops.
Establish Engineering Science Career Concierge Services in conjunction with the SEAS 360 program.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree with 2 years experience in higher education working in career services and specifically a diverse population of International students.
