A
Research Technician II position is available at the
Department of Oral Biology, School of Dental Medicine, UB. The laboratory conducts research in the areas of microbiology and genomics.
Position duties will include:
- Extraction and purification of nucleic acids from cultures and clinical samples (DNA, RNA).
- Performing experiments involving basic microbiology, molecular biology and biochemistry techniques as required by laboratory projects.
- Cultivation and maintenance of various microbial strains.
- Ordering and management of laboratory supplies.
- Assist PI with administration of research projects.
