A Research Technician I position is open in the laboratory of Dr. Saikat Boliar in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology at the University at Buffalo Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. The Boliar Lab research focuses on characterization of HIV-1 viral persistence in macrophages and investigation of the role of long non-coding RNAs in viral replication or latency.

Responsibilities will include:
  • Conducting routine laboratory experiments following standard protocols.
  • Experimental data interpretation and communication.
  • Managing lab ordering and organization of lab supplies.
  • Completing administrative tasks.
