The University at Buffalo, department of Civil, Structural & Environmental Engineering is seeking an Outreach Coordinator to serve as liaison with the Engineering & Applied Sciences Communications Office in promoting the department’s activities and faculty.
Job responsibilities will include:
Gathering & transmitting information.
Reviewing and proofing materials and arranging for coverage of special events.
Maintain all databases and mailing lists related to the outreach effort.
Assist in event planning for students, faculty and CSEE programs as needed.
Work closely with the department chair to develop outreach strategies and increase department rankings nationally. Assist in assessment efforts as needed.
Manage internal communications with alumni in conjunction with SEAS Advancement.
Organize meetings of the Department Advisory Board (DAB), communicating with members and assisting with meeting logistics and agendas.
Oversee the hiring and deployment of student assistants within the department.
