Under the general leadership of the Associate Vice President for Alumni Engagement and Annual Giving, the Engagement Assistant will be responsible for supporting the staff who plan and execute engagement activities and programs for alumni and other key constituencies (i.e., parents, friends, community stakeholders, etc.) of the university.
Responsibilities will focus on event logistic support including data collection, coding, scheduling, and customer service. Engagement activities and programs include in-person events, virtual events, lifelong learning, student programs and volunteer opportunities. The Engagement Assistant will directly support these engagement initiatives and collaborate with staff directing these programs.
Highlighted duties include:
- Assist with event registration tasks including building event registration pages, name badge creation, onsite event support, customer service, and post-event wrap-up/follow-up including surveying attendees and facilitating event payments.
- Track and code engagement participation via the alumni database.
- Coordinate the central calendar of alumni events for the Office of Alumni Engagement and the university.
- Assist in the updating of alumni website pages via university Content Management System (CMS).
