This position is in the Department of Epidemiology and Environmental Health, working with the study team on a project addressing prenatal and childhood mechanisms involved in health disparities. The project, funded by NICHD, plans to address prenatal and childhood mechanisms involved in health disparities.

Primary Responsibilities will include:
  • Study participant recruitment
  • Participant consent and interview (In person and virtually)
  • Schedule participant study visits
  • Monitoring completion of study tasks, tracking and reminding participants' visits.
  • Frequent communication with participants
  • Collection and processing of study biospecimen
  • Abstraction and entering of medical records
  • Conduct home visits
  • Work with the investigators, clinical and hospital staff, and the study coordinators.
  • Ensure that IRB requirements are followed per approved study protocol protecting participant safety and ensuring the integrity of data collection.
  • Perform data entry, develop and generate reports using Microsoft Access.
  • Perform clinical exams on study participants per study protocol as needed
  • Maintain the highest level of professionalism and perform any other duties necessary for the successful completion of the research study.
  • Requires analytical and problem-solving skills, independent judgment, collaboration and initiative to accomplish goals.
  • Ensure the accuracy of data collection and participants’ assessments, and conduct quality assurance.
