Position Summary
Under the general direction of the Vice Dean for Admissions, the School of Law invites applications for the position of Admissions Coordinator. In this fast-paced environment, the Admissions Coordinator serves as an integral member of the School of Law’s motivated admissions team, tackling a broad range of functions, including:

Handle all applications for admission from submission to decision or matriculation
Correspond with applicants regarding application status and missing documentation
Reviewing and making preliminary recommendations on admissibility of JD candidates
Managing front office operations, including but not limited to coordinating and overseeing visitor and admit packet compilation and distribution
Admissions correspondence, and event and tour management
Coordinate the overall planning and execution of special events (including open houses and yield events), from space reservation to securing IT services, catering, etc.
Maintain office purchasing card and processing payments for admissions-related expenses
Hiring and supervising student assistants and work-study students for the office
Representing the School of Law at on-campus and local recruitment events, meeting with and counseling prospective students regarding the School of Law’s academic programs and admissions process

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required
One-year experience in a higher education setting, preferably in admissions
Strong project management and organizational skills, including ability to set priorities, manage simultaneous projects, and meet deadlines
Strong commitment to customer service, diversity, and collaboration
Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite of applications required. Ability to work occasional weekends, as well as early mornings and evenings to meet the business needs of the Office of Admissions
