Compliance Associate, State Authorizations – (180518)
Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University-Worldwide is pleased to announce a new position in the Department of Administration and Business Operations. Directly reporting to the Associate Director, State Authorizations (ADSA), the Compliance Associate, State Authorizations supports all aspects of the state authorization processes and ensures compliance in all areas. This position is expected to work independently with limited direction from ADSA.
The Compliance Associate, State Authorizations will be responsible for completion and submission of state licensure and programmatic approval applications for all states, to include sourcing and interpreting institutional information. This individual must be able to manage conflicting priorities and adhere to strict deadlines.
This role works in close collaboration with the Worldwide Campus and university administrative departments, particularly- Institutional Research, Admissions, Financial Aid, Academic Affairs, Campus Operations, and Technology Services, etc. in order to provide accurate information for licensure and new program applications.
The ideal candidate will become familiar with, and act in accordance with SACS Substantive Change Process. This individual will provide primary support for SACS administrative processes, to include drafting and assembling all forms of substantive change requests.
State Authorizations Process Support
Track and adhere to state approval deadlines
Complete and submit necessary application documents for state approvals
Work with applicable university departments to coordinate reports and documentation to support state authorizations applications
Create, collect and assemble programmatic information utilizing internal academic resources
Conduct and analyze market research for program approval justification
Complete and submit necessary application documents for program applications
Oversee campus state audits- both pre-audit document collection, and on-site
Utilize various internal systems and external applications to collect necessary data for applications (Oracle, BI, Campus Solutions, Imaging, SQI, etc.)
SACS Accreditation Process Support
Serve as Worldwide subject matter expert on SACS substantive change process
Draft SACS notification and approval letters for campus administrative changes to include: new campus approvals, campus closures, campus relocations, etc.
Coordinate information and draft prospectuses for formal changes to campus classification
Support tracking of program delivery rate for campus classification
