Student Information Systems (SIS) Support Manager

South Orange County Community College District

To provide leadership and manage all aspects of support for the SOCCCD Student Information System (SIS) and related third party applications, including development of strategy, policies, standards and processes that result in innovative and enhanced user support and training; assessment of the current and on-going training and support needs for the Student Information System (SIS) and various third party applications; management of the District service desk operation for SIS and related applications; and ensuring on-going interaction and communication with district and college faculty and staff.

To foster a culture of collaboration, mutual respect, innovation, and continuous improvement throughout the District; lead by example; actively participate in and support District-wide participatory governance components and activities and other collaborative processes; encourage professional excellence among the staff and promote an organizational culture of customer service, innovation, and quality services.

Receives general direction from the Director of Information Technology-Administrative Systems, Director of Information Technology-Academic Systems or the Chancellor’s designee as assigned.

Exercises functional and technical supervision over internal and contracted staff as assigned.

Provides training and technical work direction to members of special project committees as required.
